Ulster-Scots School Workshops
The Ulster-Scots Agency offers a variety of free workshops to both primary and post-primary pupils covering aspects of history, culture and language, as part of our School Workshop Scheme. These can be delivered to individual classes, year groups or school assemblies, and can be adapted to suit your needs or to fit in with current topic work.
Workshops are all interactive, with pupils being encouraged to participate, ask questions, play games, have a go a speaking some pure Ulster-Scots.
As part of the programme, the Agency can provide support for Ulster-Scots projects which, in some cases, may include music tuition, Scottish Country or Highland Dance. The scheme may also support activities in schools relating to experiences around European Language Day or Cultural Awareness projects.
