The Agency's Ulster-Scots Twinning Programme operates within two jurisdictions – North/South and East/West – promoting shared learning experiences.
Contact between the two schools is initially fostered between teachers before participating pupils engage in a pen-pal correspondence over the course of the academic year. By promoting local connections through the programme, pupils research the history of their own school and locality, which they share with their Twinned School.
The conclusion of the programme is a shared trip, where the pupils meet to further build and strengthen the relationships made between the two schools.
