Ulster-Scots Twinning Programme
The Agency’s Ulster-Scots Twinning Programme operates within two jurisdictions, North/South and East/West, promoting shared learning experiences.
Contact between the two schools is initially fostered between teachers before participating pupils engage in a pen-pal correspondence over the course of the academic year. Promoting local links, pupils will research the history of their own school and locality, which they will share with their Twinned School.
The conclusion of the programme is a shared trip, where the pupils will meet to further build relationships between the schools.
