The Agency's After-School Clubs are designed to provide extra-curricular experiences and encourage a greater understanding of Ulster-Scots language and culture among primary school children.
A facilitator, provided by the Agency, delivers a programme of six workshops, with each approximately 60 – 90 minutes duration. One workshop must focus on the Ulster-Scots language, but the other sessions can include Highland Bagpipes, Snare Drum, Lambeg Drumming, Highland Dance, Scottish Country Dance, Living History and Fiddle.
This programme is an 'entry-level' experience offered by the Ulster-Scots Agency. Schools which complete this programme have the opportunity to progress onto Flagship status.
