The Ulster-Scots Agency will be attending Balmoral Show 2026. Find us in the Eikon Shopping Village – Stand EK21.
Throughout the four-day event, our team will be on hand to Inspire, Empower and Engage with visitors.
On our stand we will have:
- Literature
From an introduction to the Ulster-Scots language to a book of illustrated poetry by Rhyming Weaver Thomas Given; pocket histories of the Ulster-Scots individuals and families in the United States and their experiences to a pocket history of the first Scottish migrations to Ulster; a storybook for the weans to a recipe book for the chefs in our lives, the Agency has a wide range of literature available for visitors to view and take home for further reading.
- Quizzes & Giveaways
Come along and try our Wheen o Wurds quiz, a fun and informative way to test one’s knowledge of the Ulster-Scots language. Those who successfully complete the quiz will receive a certificate and one of our coveted ‘Wheen o Wurds’ badges! We’ll also have exclusive prugh to giveaway throughout Balmoral Show with the return of our popular ‘Spin The Wheel’ game.
- A Wee Yarn.
