The Ulster-Scots Agency assists community groups and voluntary organisations by providing financial support, as well as approved resources, so they can organise and host Ulster-Scots activities, events and projects.

We also provide support through the application process, including guidance videos and easy-to-follow forms, while our Community Partners offer additional support services.

For example, groups can bring their application forms to the Ulster-Scots Community Network to be checked. This service minimises errors within an application and ensures that relevant supporting documentation, signatures, and information are correct and as requested within the Ulster Scots Agency guidelines before submitting for approval.

To avail of the application help service, groups can contact the Ulster-Scots Community Network on 028 9043 6710 or call into the Discover Ulster-Scots Centre, 1-9 Victoria Street, Belfast, BT1 3GA (Mon - Fri, 10am - 4pm), where the team will be happy to help.

Guidance on other areas of the process, including Governance & Training and Access NI Applications, are also available from our Community Partners. Click on the button below to learn more.
